Who Are We?

About Us

We're no experts on anything but have quite a bit of real-world experience travelling around the globe.  We've hit 6 out of the 7 continents on the planet, with the exception being Antarctica.  We've lived and worked overseas for the past 14 years in Australia, Southwest Asia, East Asia and South America.  As you can see from the picture above we're middle aged so we don't do hostels or party all night.  We're mid-budget travelers so our experience is more along the lines of Hilton, Radisson, and mainly boutique hotels.  If you have questions about the Ritz or backpacker hostels, we're probably not the right folks.  We'll call it how it is, we don't take anything free from anyone.  Our opinion is just that, our opinion, we are not "influencers".

We are mainly adventure travelers but also once in a while just want to hang at the beach with a book.  We're both SCUBA divers and avid trekkers, which is why I'm writing about our treks in Nepal right now.  We don't spend our life on the road, we've had this work thing get in the way of our travels.

I've just started this website, so I will add most of the places we've travelled to soon, along with pictures.  Reading about places is good, but pictures are better.  All pictures on this website are completely untouched, what you see is real.  I will never photoshop or "enhance" any picture.
